1997 — 3DO quits the hardware business by selling off its division to Samsung for $20 million dollars.
1999 — Connectix ceases shipments on its Virtual Game Station software for the Mac, in compliance with a federal court order initiated by Sony. The Virtual Game Station allowed PlayStation games to be played on Apple computers.
2002 — EA Sports releases 2002 FIFA World Cup for the PS2 and Xbox in the US.
2002 — Nintendo announces that the launch price for the GameCube in the UK will be £129. 2003 — LucasArts releases Star Wars: The Clone Wars for the Xbox. 2004 — Nintendo releases Mario Golf: Advance Tour for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. 2005 — Eidos Interactive and LucasArts releases Lego Star Wars: The Video Game for Windows, the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in Europe. 2007 — Nintendo releases the Pokémon Diamond Version and Pearl Version for the Nintendo DS in North America. — unknown
