The clouds have parted and the screen has been constructed. Gamenight returns to it’s rightful place, under the stars and out in the open this week for what is expected to be a record turnout.
Taking a few weeks off from the Tatsunoko VS Capcom bouts at the Viper Pit, Gamenight changes hands to the elegant Le Fantasy Zone - featuring 2 levels, a 200 foot outdoor screen and patio grounds.
We dust off the SNES & NES tonight for what can only be the closest reenactment to The Wizard that Fred Savage or Tobey McGuire have ever seen. Expect the NES World Championship cart and it’s angrier, prettier brother - the SNES Campus Challenge cart to make an appearance. An unknown gamer source has reported that money pots have exceeded the Gamenight record at a whopping $36,000. With this news, LFZ has escalated this event from “Danger Zone” to “Boss Rush.”
Due to the magnitude of these two titles and the still unconfirmed bounties for high score, other titles cannot be announced at the time. Sources say that Mike Tyson’s Punchout! is expected to make it’s debut at Le Fantasy Zone, being an exclusive to The Viper Pit (aka Smallville) for the last 4 years. Once we confirm it’s appearance, we will announce prize pots, which will likely cap at 14k.
Good luck to all entrants, and welcome to Le Fantasy Zone.
If you’re a 3DS Ambassador, then this list is for you. Otherwise, you probably wont care. Games will be available on Dec.16th in Japan, no date has been announced for the U.S.

Nintendo drops 3DS price, showers fans with 10 free games, and makes Vita look too expensive all in a single bound
Woof! Nintendo just did something very unlike Nintendo - they made a smart decision that benefits it’s (hard)core fans. Essentially the Nintendo is slashing the 3DS price to $169 (from $250!) and giving the fans who purchased the system at full price 10 free NES games.
Well fuck me in the Toadstool - that’s pretty awesome.
In a relatively quiet announcement Nintendo is dropping the price of its Wii game console to $149.99. “It will come with Mario Kart Wii and a Wii Wheel accessory in the same color as the console,” according to this cnet article.
Get ready folks, because this is a big one… too many for pictures.
