Outrun 2: Electric Bugaloo
I want a Magical Sega Shower
Been playing a lot of Outrun 2 on XBLA lately. This game is flawless.
Makes me wonder why Sega isn’t at every system launch with a new Outrun like the Ridge Racer series is. They have such an awesome arcade history, yet they continue to pump out crappy games with Sonic in the title. Where’s my Turbo? Space Harrier? ESWAT? Fighting Vipers? Zaxxon?
The seemed to be on the right track with Outrun 2 and Afterburner Climax, LA Machine Gunners combo pack… but it all sort of flatlined after that (in regards to classic arcade releases).
If Sega released a new system, completely devoted to digitally downloaded arcade-type titles, some direct ports, some reboots - would you buy it? You’re fucking right you would.
