How gamers destroyed a marketing agency in 12 hours

In case you’ve been living under a rock today (or are busy playing your xmas videogame haul) there has been a lot of drama unfolding today. It all started here:

The gaming community then decided this ahole needed to be taught a lesson. So far there has been a review score nose-dive on Amazon, a permanent banning at PAX East, reports/blasts by IGN and Kotaku, a deleted twitter handle (then renamed with incorrect spelling once more) and a closed facebook page.

You can read more at NeoGAF, as users there have been heavily involved in the fun. What a way to end the year!

OMFG X-Men Arcade goes mobile!

First it came to the XBox 360, and now it went mobile. Yes the classic 1992 X-Men arcade hit found its way to the iPad, iPhone and Android devices! So get your $2.99 ready (in the App Store) and pick your favorite uncanny superhero to take on Magneto and his band of super villains and get to doin’ good bub. Nuff said!

Actually, a few other cool points is the 4-way multiplayer over Wifi and leaderboard features. Hmmm… i wonder if this has anything to do with X-Men: First Class premiering??? I guess its just coincidence. Either way i’m locked and loaded and ready to go!

Indie games > Retail games (sometimes)

Over at the fine establishment of NeoGAF, a user by the name toythatkills posts a monthly thread highlighting some of the hidden gems that lurk in the Xbox Live Indie Marketplace.

His past threads were the reasons I own awesome games like Tempura of the Dead, Hypership Out of Control, Crossfire, Revolver 360, and several unpronounceable Japanese games. And these games usually run you a $1.00.

Check out his picks and you might be saving yourself $60.00 on Bulletstorm.
